Default Audio tracks don't match.

I receive MP3 bounce tracks from my partner and use that to record vocal then send the vocal tracks back to him. However, the problem is the vocal tracks are totally off beat when he import them in to his session. They don't match at all.
I've been searching for an answer but couldn't find anywhere then I start thinking that might be because i didn't set the correct tempo when i record vocal tracks. I just leaved it at default 120BPM. Is that a problem? I thought the samples base audio track does't do anything with tempo.

As long as you start the recording at the same time the mp3 is sitting in your PT session it should line up.... If you are adding plugins to the vocals and not using delay compensation they may be behind slightly but should line up if nudged into place.

That's why it so strange to me. The audio from my system are playing faster tempo and i see the clips are squeeze in a little bit when import to other system.

Could that be a difference between 44.1 and 48?

Now thats true... if you tried to use a 44.1 at 48K without converting it to 48K it will not be the same time and would change slightly in pitch.
