Unused Plugins
Whenever I start ProTools I get message windows looking for plugins. I know that I can move them to an unused plugin folder. But I don't what to do to get rid of the messages for the following:
a) DV Toolkit b) Digi Translator I can't find anything in the plugins folder. Any idea how I can get around this problem? |

Re: Unused Plugins
Unless you've paid to license those, you've installed them erroneously. They appear on the install discs, but are optional. If they can't be Removed via Windoze Remove Programs, uninstall/re-install PT without including the stuff you haven't purchased.

Re: Unused Plugins
I can't find them in the windows add/remove programs. Do you know which installation disk these are on? The Mbox came with a lot of disks.
Thanks for the help. |

Re: Unused Plugins
The Pro Tools "W" disc, presumably for Windows, since you've posted on this forum.

Re: Unused Plugins
Bob,
That suggestion worked. I was able to just use that disk and remove those programs. I started ProTools and I'm not getting any missing plugin messages. Thanks for all the help. I appreciate it. |
