Why is PT inconsistent ??

I am using HD3 with PT10 on a 2.66 Dual Core-10.6.8-with 10GIG Memory.
I can close a session with all plugins working as well as heat, and then reopen and it tells me some plugins cant be actived due to insufficient resources. Sometimes I reboot and then it will load fine. I dont understand why it would work sometimes and not others. These are large sessions and I have to set it to 1024 and 90% in the session prefs. Frustrating never knowing when they will open correctly. Any suggestions?
