Default Transferring Files to new G-5

Just got a new G-5 and did a transfer of all Apps and files from my old imac to the G-5 via FireWire. Everything seems to work fine except for Pro Tools LE (big surprise - the reason for getting the G-5 was primarily for running PT). All my PT sessions are on a separate FireWire hard drive. It's hooked up and running properly. PT itself launches, but when I open a session, I get this error message:

"The original disk allocation for this session cannot be used. One or more drives could not be found or are invalid for this session. As a result, disk allocation has been modified. Would you like to verify the new disk allocation?"

Of course, when I try to do that, it doesn't work.

Does this mean that not all files got copied? Or that I have to re-install PT on this computer? Any ideas?

PTLE 6.9.2
OSX 10.4.2
G-5 dual 2.3 GHZ

First, read the thread near the top of the forum called " Audio Record or Playback Volume Error Info "

That being said, there's more to PTLE than just the application folder (DAE, Plug-ins) that I'm not sure that it would work just by copying the files from another computer. You should probably do a fresh install from your latest PTLE installer (6.9.2) to be sure that all the necessary files have been installed into their proper locations.

Thanks for the info. I suspected I would have to re-install. I'll check out the thread first tho.
