Hidden and Inactive tracks in Output Path selector

2020.12 Ultimate is showing me all the inactive and hidden tracks in the Output Path selector pop-up menu. Was it always like this or has something changed? Can someone please compare to an older version?

I mean hidden tracks, OK, this is debatable. But being able to assign an output to an inactive track does not make sense to me. I usually have quite a lot of of inactive tracks like duplicates for different versions of mixes or original AAF imports. The list just got to crowded.

It was the same, at least, in 2019.12.

I guess you are referring to the submenu that opens when you click on the "track" item in the menu of the Output Selector.

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. Thanks for looking this up, I never noticed this before. I find it quite annoying.
