Export MIDI from PT results in 20 thousand measure file !
Hi Everyone !
I'm starting to be fed up with Pro Tools. I'm trying to do simple tasks, and for example if I want to export MIDI to open it in notation program ( open in Sibelius ) the exported file is always corrupted, and with 20 thousand empty measures or so. I can not find solution to this problem. I've tried everything : tried to select the regions, the length of the song, un - mute all tracks to be exported etc. Everything by the book. All in vain... Chris7514 PT 7.3.1 cs5, MBP 2,16 GHz, 2GB RAM, LaCie HD 120 GB, 70 per cent space free, DIGI 002R, Mac OS 10.4.9

Does this occur with every session, or just a particular one?
Have you tried to import session data to a new session? It could be a corrupted session causing the problem.

It occurs with every session. All I do is record MIDI, Quantize it for printing. No duplicate notes, etc. Can not figure out why... The same happens with iMac G5 1,8 GHz, 2GB RAM, OS X 10.4.8, DIGI 002, Motu Midi Express. PT LE 7.1. My sessions are usually 4 minutes long or so. It happens even with just one single track to print. The file is always corrupted. And always 20 thousand empty measures long.
