Default How do I insert midi note \"stop\" command.

Sorry to jump into your thread, but it sounds like you know what you're doing.
I'm new to PT. We're using LE to drive the music portion of a live show.
My question is, " How do I insert a midi "stop" cue in the event list?
I can't find the sysex info anywhere and unlike Logic, it appears that PT does not allow you to edit global commands like "start and stop" nor will it allow you to assign a midi note number to those commands.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jim
