Default Click track won't work after update?

Anybody using PT LE 8.04 is having any problems with the click track? I did the update a couple of weeks ago, and I'm running a Mac Mini with Snow Leopard on 64bit. So far everything was working smoothly, until I decided to make a click track to practice with the metronome, it was then, that I found out that no sound was coming out of it.

7 on the number pad
or open the transport, show MIDI controls and click the Metronome button

Verify the metronome is engaged by highlighted on your floating transport window.

Verify your Booting your Mac OS into its 32 Bit Kernel and not the special 64 Bit Kernel which Pro Tools doesnt support yet.

I tried all of the above, booting on 64 bit, then on 32, made sure the metronome was hightlighted, nothing worked, then I thought I could use the TLMetro instead, and I was able to get sound out of it, but, when is set to Trans+Tempo on the Link status, I get on the Bpm window: "? No Midi click" I've done some reading and I've seen other people having that problem for at least a year ago. I can always find my way around it, but it's time consuming and annoying not having those tools available as they should be.
