Anyone using an iPad 2020 with Avid Dock? It's not on the compatibility list, but I'm not sure if the list is up-to-date. It's a 10.2 inch tablet. Is there any reason it should not fit?

For it to fit you would need either a later Dock (past year), or the adapter. Even with these the power connector is hard to get in unless you raise the iPad a bit.

Look at the ends of this adapter and notice that the channel is open, compared to an earlier Dock where this channel has raised ends.

I went ahead and bought it before reading your post, and it seems to be a near-perfect fit. The Lightning connector has just enough room, but it's VERY tight

. It looks quite good in portrait mode too, if you don't mind the space.

What is the tablet on the S1? I like the minimal border around the viewable.

Is there a way to find out which Dock is the later model and which one requires the adapter? Thanks!
