8.0.3cs1 update...now PT won't load...

Did the cs1 update. Now the moment I click on the PT icon to load the app, it instantly quits.

Downloading 8.0.3 installer to take things back a step.

Hi,

You haven't listed thread 0 so we can't see whats in that thread!!

you can post the whole crash log, by pasting it here, then select it all then click on the # sign in the menu bar to wrap in tags.

Did you trash prefs before updating with 8.0.3? usually helps

That's odd...that was the entire crash thread info that came up in the window.

Yes. I had trashed all preferences.

Reinstalled 8.0.3 and few plugs and all is well.

Just a glitch I guess as I'm the only one that had a issue.

Same problem here. Whatever i do (deleting prefs etc.), Protools does not start up anymore. Downgrading to 8.03?

Worked fine for me but some of the latest AIR plugs did not so I had to quickly reinstall all 5. That was fun !

Try enabling Spotlight "privacy" on the startup drive.

So I updated to 8.0.3cs1 and PT won't launch! Trashed prefs, etc. Reverted back to 8.0.3 and everything seems to be back in working order EXCEPT the midi patch list. Still a big fat no to that one!!!
