Default PLEASE HELP!!! PRO TOOLS INSTALLATION!!

I've installed the protools software and everything is fine so far. I've restarted just as it says. But now when I try and open pro tools i get a big black box in the middle of the screen saying ''you need to restart your computer'' (in about 5 different languages).
Obviously, I restarted (about 10 times) but I still get the same message. I've uninstalled and reinstalled about 3 times as well.

I'm running a MacBook with 2gb Ram

Anyone know how to just get it to work!?!!

What version of ProTools? You may need to go get the latest update.

first of all, the is the TDM/HD forum. you have LE, you should post this at the LE forum.

secondly, what you have there is a KERNAL PANIC. this is a system problem, not necessarily a PT problem.

you need to verify that you are installing the correct version of Pro Tools for your system. if you install the wrong one, it can cause issues. read the compatibility documents.

i also suggest you buy Disk Warrior and run it on all your drives as well as follow the trouble-shooting tips posted at the top of the LE forum.
