Audio playback too fast!!! HELP!!!
Has anyone ever come accross this one??
Turning on in the morning and every audio file I choose to play, either in Protools, toast or peak, plays faster than the normal rate, changing the pitch like a tape deck that plays tapes too fast?? WTF?? After a reboot, it settles back too normal, however this has happened to me twice now and I am seriously concerned. Please help. THis is on a dedicated audio drive, OS 9.2 ptools 5.*, G4 1.25ghtz

Re: Audio playback too fast!!! HELP!!!
I have had the audio play back too slow when there is a clocking issue, so maybe this is the case. Perhaps something is causing the sample clock to go off.

(i agree that it is most likely a clocking issue.)
