Default Midi edit window display ?

If I am only transmitting midi on say 10 channesl or only 1 octave's worth on mdi info, how can I display just that octave. I figured out how to display single notes, but I can't figue out how to display just the octave I'm working on. Right now I just zoom in on that octave of notes, and set the track height to jumbo. There's got to be a way to choose to view just these 10 channels or this whole ocatve right? Any help is greatly apprecited.
