Default Install log and demo plugs

When I installed the program it made two installiation logs one for plugins and one for the applications----can I delete these two logs or do I need them---all they do is say when I installed stuff----also my maxium demo expired early ---I tink because Ive never updated my clock on the new mac and when I did and tried to use the maxium plug it expired ---and also the dverb---I have the authorization number for the dverb but cant find aa place to type it in ---it just says to contact digi---so anybody know where I can type in the code ---I dont have a floppy drive--also How do I get rid of the damn messages that maxium has expired ---am I going to always get a bunch of messages about all the demp plugs when the expire.
thanks
stix

You do not need the installation logs on your hard disk for PTLE to operate, they're just helpful if you want to make sure that everything installed correctly. They're also useful if you need to uninstall a program later, as they give you a list of all the files and where they went.

When I installed PTLE and D-Verb, I was given a dialog box when starting PTLE that asked me to input the authorization code for D-Verb. If you are on a newer mac without a floppy drive, you do not need to use the authorization disk.

To prevent the expiration dialog from appearing every time you start Pro Tools, you must remove the offending plugin from your DAE Plugins folder. This folder is found in your system folder. Or use Sherlock to find "Maxim" or "DAE".
Once you locate the plugin, you can either delete it or move it out of the DAE plugins folder.
