Native DSP confusion.

Can anyone identify why a native system would confuse a session as having DSP active on track import when the session is also coming from a native system?

Have no idea but possibly in your preferences you have the auto-DSP setting set for any hardware inputs input/record enabled and the track is importing with it's current state which has it in input-enabled? Change that setting in your preferences and you might avoid it. (Operations tab IIRC)

There’s another reason to consider using AAX DSP and AAX Native plug-ins: Mixing these formats on the same track can cause conflicts. For instance, if you add an AAX DSP plug-in to a track that already has an active AAX Native plug-in, the latter may get deactivated. To prevent this issue, it’s best to avoid using different plug-in formats on the same track.
