I can´t believe it!
And refuse to, until they will really release it in about six months.

Anybody want my second sound card then? I make a special price for ya. Only 1,999.00 bucks.
Shipping costs on me.

everybody should thank angus from FXpansion for this because i guarantee it was his competetive product that pushed them into going rtas. everyone that wants to buy a rtas sampler should head directly over to www.fxpansion.com and buy the dr-008 immediately - bugs or no bugs. i have full confidence angus will work out the problems within a few weeks at most...

by the way, i don't work for them, i don't get any money for promoting them. i've seen the dr-008 DX in action and it kicks ass. i'm sure the rtas version will as well.

RTAS for all NI products
NI is working intensely on outfitting all NI products with RTAS support. All new products coming out in 2003 will support the RTAS standard, and RTAS support for existing products is also planned for 2003 (Windows, Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X). RTAS will soon be the new standard for integration of NI products into Pro Tools and completely replace DirectConnect. With RTAS support the integration of NI software synthesizers, samplers and effects into Pro Tools systems reaches a new level of quality. Soon all NI products will offer Pro Tools users complete automation, total recall, and remote control of all plug-in control elements via Digidesign hardware controllers.

Oops - either Digidesign didn't like the question ("Windows too? All I see are Macs") which I seriously doubt, or the person I quoted saw what they were looking for and deleted their message as I was writing my response.

I wont need to mess with sonar after that comes out.
I prefer protools software way more ,although I am having fun with the digi asio driver into sonar 2.2.
