Pro tools 12.8.1 from Ultimate and Catalina

I updated my iMac from High Sierra to Catalina 10.15.7 and now Pro tools 12.8.1 Ultimate will not launch. Any suggestions on how I can repair this? Thank you

Pro Tools 12.8.1 isn't qualified for Catalina so you probably need to update Pro Tools.

Roll back to High Sierra. Having said that, do you need Ultimate? If you use digilink hardware, then you do, but otherwise, you might be fine with the new Pro Tools Studio version(its worth looking into anyway as many things have changed since the 12.x days)
