Default Trimmer tool question!

Ok so i have let´s say.........100 Hi hat strokes on one channel as separated regions for every hit.
I want to trim the lenght of all of them at once, is there a way?
When i mark them all and use the trimmer only one of them gets trimmed.

I make mostly electronic music, House/electro/electropop.
I place alot of samples everywhere, copy paste or whatever.
I get a long row of samples on every track and suddenly i feel that there is something wrong with the groove. The kick is to long or something else.
So my alternatives are, to put a gateplugin on the track, or to delete all the samples except one, trim it to my desired length and then copy it allover again.
I prefer trimming the audiofiles over using a gate.
So what do i do?
What would you do?

Select the area with your newly pocketed edits then hit Alt+R and type in the number of repeats.

Digi need to implement a 'replace region' command, so you can replace all regions of the same name with a new region from the bin.

Or,

A mirror mode, like they have for MIDI.

from the description, it looks like you need a soundreplacer type of plug-in.

Unfortunately it's a no on that one. Reaper does the requested feature quite well and it's definitely a huge time saver. I definitely could use the feature in PT myself at times. The fastest approach to this in PT would be the Repeat to Fill Selection command(Ctrl+Alt+V) or the Replace Region window.

Hope that helps.
