d-command main unit malfunction after upgrade

I have a strange problem ,
after i installed protools 7.3.1 then i installed 7.1.3 cs1 update ,when i add the d-command and I get the message "the d-command unit named D-CMD-F has firmware version v7.0.0.171 which does not match the current version v7.3.0.171 would you like to update firmware in this unit" I choose yes then the same message come for d-command main and i choose yes and after that the d-command fader will work OK but the d-command main will not work correctly ,controls especially the rotary knobs will not work correctly and it when i increase it its led will not lit in correspondence to my rotary movement , and when i restore the old firmware (that come with protools 7.3.1 ) to the units they work fine !!!!!!

The only advice I would have is to try 7.1.3cs3 instead of cs1

I was just searching for the same problem - I'm on 7.3.1cs4 and have just experienced what you describe. Have you found any solution? Did you go back to 7.3.1cs1 with any luck?
