silent external fw800 drives?
Following on from another post about good drives, I wonder if anyone has a reccomendation for particularly silent/quiet drives which are digi compatible and fw800 compliant?
I do a lot of mobile recording where the control room is the recording room, and extraneous noises can get onto the recordings which is a pain if you are doing mainly quiet acoustic stuff. I actually have a record out with a lacie whirr in the backround of an acou track....oh well there are worse things in the world!
