Soft SampleCell on seperate Mac, no midi...

I have soft samplecell installed by itself on a G3 (OS 9.2), I have PT (mix, 5.1, os 9.2) on a G4. An audiomedia card brings in the 2 tracks into my 888-24, that works.
PT sends midi out a MOTU express to a MOTU fastlane and into the G3. How do I assign the midi stream to Soft Samplecell for triggering?

Does anyone have something like this running?

define the the g3 as a device in OMS on the g4 as a multitimbral sound module.

in OMS on the G3. assign the input port as a controller.
