Unwanted Automation on Midi/Inst tracks when adding meter changes
Hi There,
I have searched around and haven't found much on this, sorry if it's already been covered! I have been having an issue in which whenever I change meter in a piece, or even tempo, Pro Tools adds an automation point at the beginning of the session on every element of every midi / instrument track. So I need to go in to each track and delete this point for volume, mute, pan, etc.. It's not too big of a deal, but it becomes extremely annoying. Mostly because I will start with a template, but obviously the first thing I am going to change around with my sessions are the meter and the tempo. So i can't really have any instruments ready to go in my templates, unless I want to go through and delete all of the automation marks. . . It's probably just a stupid setting I have selected, and I can't figure out where to turn it off. Does anyone know how to deal with this? Any help would be much appreciated! Here are a few important specs: Mac Pro 8 core 2.26ghz OS 10.6.6 PT 9.0.5 Thanks! |
