DIGI SUPPORT HELP! ONLY 26 tracks, no plug-ins with my PT24, G3 233

Hi friends! I have not been able to create more than 26 tracks on my PT24 rig, which is version 4.3, two interfaces ADAT BRIDGE 24 and 20, Masterlist 2.0, 160Mega RAM on a beige G3 233, Master X 3, Waves Bundle, Digidrive 18k, Glyph CDR. Also, I just can not open any plug in!!! On the playback buffersize I have already tried levels (4) and (8) and seems I have the same behavior.
Hope to hear from you as soon as possible, since I need to make a 32 track mixing tomorrow afternoon! Do not want to go back to ADAT XT!!! Thanks !! [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]

-What happens when you try and create a 27th track?

-What happens when you try and instantiate a plug-in?

-What Mac OS version are you using?

In the meantime:
-Trash the DigiSetup File, Pro Tools preference, and DAE prefs (the entire folder) from the System Folder>Preferences folder. Empty the Trash and restart the Mac. Once Pro Tools is launched, reconfigure the hardware settings.

-Rebuild the Desktop

-Remove all third party plug-ins from the DAE Folder>Plug-Ins folder and relaunch Pro Tools. Can you instantiate any of the DigiRack plugs?

My OS version is 8.1. When I try track 27, appears the message "the plug in can not be assigned because the required DSP is not available".
But there isn´t any plug in. Are the interfaces eating part of the DSp farm or D24? When I used only one interface I think I was able to open 24 tracks!

I am a little afraid of reinstalling everything because I am supposed to finish a mix of a good old client . hope to hear from you again! thanks

Are the interfaces eating part of the DSp farm or D24?

-Yes, DSP resources are consumed when an interface is connected to a DSP Farm. The most DSP-efficient way to configure 2 interfaces with a d24 + DSP Farm system, purchase a Y-cable and connect both interfaces to the d24 card.
