Mbox2 Micro - High sample rates
Instead of paying for the LE 8.0 upgrade, I am thinking about just getting the Mbox Micro instead. However, the data sheet says it is only supports up to 48khz and that higher sample rates require "pre-conversion".
What does this "pre-conversion" mean? I would use it just to edit sessions on the road anyways. If the files are 96k, then what good does the Micro do? |

Re: Mbox2 Micro - High sample rates
Pre-conversion means you'll need to convert sessions you want to use with the micro down to 48KHz or lower.
You're hardly going to want to do that just to edit on the road, losing the extra sampling rate information (plus it being a pain in the arse). I use one myself and it's really handy but then I work in 44.1Khz (can't hear the difference at higher sample rates personally).
