Mix window freezing in 8.0.3 windows 7 32

I have optimized my system to the suggestions in the sticky thread.

The system is crashing during playback. The Mix windows freezes, and I'm usually able to get a save in before the whole system locks up, but it requires a reboot everytime. SOMETIMES i get a BSOD an dg003.sys seems to be the culprit. Suggestions?
