I should have asked this before but what is the proper procedure for updating your plugin from a previous version? When trying to install v125, Streamdeck said it could not install because the same custom plugin was already installed. I right clicked on the existing DADmon plugin and uninstalled it, then was able to install the new one. BUT I lost all my Keycap labels and colors for every layer.

I do this:

• Quit StreamDeck (from the top bar)
• Go to: /Users/username/Library/Application Support/com.elgato.StreamDeck/Plugins
• Delete: com.padl.monitoroperatingmodule.sdPlugin

Then unzip Luke's new version, double click on the:
com.padl.monitoroperatingmodule.sdPlugin
found there which reopens StreamDeck and you'll get the question on whether you want to install. Say yes.

StreamDeck is back and all your settings are kept the same.

The plugin lives in ~/Library/Application Support/com.elgato.StreamDeck/Plugins/com.padl.monitoroperatingmodule.sdPlugin, I usually just delete it manually and reinstall the new one. That shouldn't touch your configuration (I'm not exactly sure where that is stored, but it's not in the plugin directory itself).

FYI,

Being a glutton for punishment, I updated to Stream Deck V 6.2.1 today. I'm happy to report that all is still working fine with the plugin.

For those of you who are using multiple MOMs on duplicate networks, how are you setting them up? Whenever I try to connect to a MOM on a duplicated network, I get "connection error" on DADman

A few questions :)

Did you enable EnablePluginRouter per the readme:

defaults write com.padl.monitoroperatingmodule.sdPlugin EnablePluginRouter -int 2

Which interface did you duplicate, builtin or WiFi? Does each MOM have a unique device ID? Have you tried restarting the StreamDeck app?

Yes, its enabled, I'm actually using 3 MOMs right now, built-in ethernet, wifi, and thunderbolt ethernet

tried duplicating Built in, yes, Ive tried restarting the app and the whole system, no luck.

Today I tried again and now the duplicate interface is not seen by the streamdeck app

Yes, I tried all of that before, but no luck, I was actually using 3 MOMs on builtin, wifi and thunderbolt ethernet, but couldnt make it work with duplicates

Not sure what changed, but today I deleted everything I could find stream deck related, and did a full reinstall of the stream deck app and plugins, reconfigured everything and its working now.

Since StreamDeck 6.3.0 came out, I wanted to mention that all seems to be working/fine with the MOMStreamDeckPlugin (both on a StreamDeck regular size and a StreamDeck Plus.)

So if anyone is worried about doing the update, don't be.
