Will PT11 come with PT10 if bought after released?

Right now if you buy PT10 you get PT11 as well.

BUT, if you buy PT11 after it's released, will you get PT10 license and free download as well?

I'm asking because it would be "logical" that they would allow us to download and use PT10 since, at least in my case, MANY of my plugins are RTAS which won't work on PT11. But logical to me might not be to Avid.

I just can't buy it pre-release and will have to wait a little while, maybe well into PT11's release.

Please let me know if there is an official statement regarding this.

Yes. And this has all very clearly been described by Avid.

I can now relax ... I just hope that at the end of the year they still don't change their mind and allow you to download and use PT10 when buying PT11.

You will get a sub-license for 10 all the way up until PT12, when the process starts again and you get PT12 with a sub license for 11. Just like like those who bought PT10 got a sub license for 9 all the way up until PT11 was announced.
