BOUNCE TO DISK error / Pro Tools 7.4
I'm getting the following error when I try to bounce a song to WAV format:
"Could not complete the Bounce To Disk Command because Data error (cyclic redundancy check). (23)" I have NO IDEA what to do. I'm using a DIGI003 Rack. Sweetwater Creation Station Duo Core (4 months old). This computer was made specifically to run Pro Tools. Pro Tools 7.4 IBM PC 2 GB RAM I had the same problem with Pro Tools 7.3 before I uninstalled it, and I was hoping the new version would clear the error.

Cyclic Redundancy Check errors are usually an indication of a defective or failing hard drive. I would recommend backing up your data ASAP.
Then you should check your hard drives for errors.
