I've installed 8.1 cs1 with a bit of fear, because my setup didn't work with cs3 at all, even with one stereo track and no plug-ins. With 8.1cs1 everything is OK, no problems so far (more than a week), stable and reliable. Strange...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Possibly after this record is done. Not going near it until then.

I've been stuck on 8.0 cs3, the move to 8.1 seems great, no probs at all.
I haven't even looked at plugin compatability. Very disappointed not to get Heat, as I misunderstood the claim that " there is a free upgrade available to all existing 8.xxx owners". This of course refers to Protools 8.1, NOT heat
