New feature request

Like in Reaper I would like to have Pro Tools be able to burn plugins to track when tracking. I can do this through my Antelope Orion 32 HD FPGA FX with routing but it would be much easier to use the software plugins to burn them like Reaper does. Just a suggestion for a game changing new feature in Pro Tools.

create aux track and audio track
set aux track input to where your mic is connected to
set aux track output to bus x, set audio track input to bus x
insert plugins to aux track
set audio track to record and record with plugins printed

EDIT: oh sorry, missed the part where you said "when tracking". The only way is like said have one audio track for real audio and another audio track for your audio with plugins processing. Just route the audio from one to the another and record both. But I think this is unnecessary at tracking, because it can be done later very easily and offline (non-realtime). However with that said I use that for a 2-track mix buss to have a reference of what was going on, but not individual tracks.

I don't know about that one button but the philosophy of PT is to always record what is coming in, so every process you wish is an afterthought. Consider PT as a tape machine and you get it.
