Default Re: Fast Track c400 drivers are crashing my computer

The C400 doesn't have an AC adapter?

Another thought--you mentioned that you typically have the C400 plugged into one USB port--and you can get your computer to recognize it by switching it to another port. Is it possible that your problem is with that particular USB port? That is, if you are successfully after moving it to port B, can you leave the cable there? Will it boot from there again?

Nope. Both ports work fine. Which ever port it starts in, I switch it to the other.
