Default Stereo Tracks from single source...?

How do you record a stereo track from a stereo source that comes from a single 1/4 cable...Digi is always asking for a stereo inputs (i.e. 1-2, 3-4, etc..)

Default Re: Stereo Tracks from single source...?

Use a Y-cable. one end = TRS, the other 2 ends are left and right TS type plugs. Also known as an "insert-cable". Only do it like this if your source is indeed stereo. Just create a mono-channel for a mono-source....
