Default PT 9 Strange behaviour

I'm working on this 3GB PT session that has around 120 midi tracks with 11 instances of Kontakt and a few EQ and Altiverb plugins. When I am listening through the session, all of a sudden somewhere around the middle, the sound goes silent.. no audio is heard, even if I go back to the start of the session, nothing can be heard. This happened 3 times now, and almost at the same location in the session.
The only way is to close and re-open the session again, to stat getting the audio back.

what could the cause be? anyone had a similar problem?
thanks

I have Pro Tools 9.0. today for the first time. I'm not getting any sound out of my monitors, yet I hear it in my head phones. I have no idea what's causing this.

No, my problem is I am getting audio out of my monitors and headphones, its just that the audio ceases suddenly out of nowhere in the middle of the song...After that, even the audio in the begining which was audible at first, ceases to come out as well. the only way to get it to work, is I have to close the session and re-open it again.

I also noticed that the audio disappears right after I get the error message that the H/W buffer has udnerflowed and I should try to reduce it. It is normally set at 1024 when i am doing midi, and if i reduce it to 512 the error message keep recurring even more. Nothing get back the audio, except a complete close and re-open of the session.

Any suggestions?
