I'm very curious to see how it handles vocals which aren't strictly centered, and music which is mono and down the middle. It's these types of unorthodox mixes which can be tough to isolate/separate. A plugin that can do it will find a place in my toolbox.

Can someone explain why anyone would need a vocal exstractor?? Just mute the vocals or is this for stealing background music or vocals??

In post it would be for using it so you have control over the amount of Vocals during a scene where others are talking and they are your main focus of the moment and you could eliminate the vocals while still having the energy of the music playing and then the Dialog and Music could coexist. Just one example.

I was beginning to test this then noticed that the product is only valid during the beta stage. Afterward it must be purchased. I'm certainly happy to buy a product I like and will use, but what if it's too buggy and can't be used feasibly? So I've used a beta in-session, which I might need to later access after the beta stage expires, but I won't be able to without buying it. I've tested many quite a lot of software but can't remember any that didn't provide access after the testing was over. Sorry AudiosourceRE. Interesting concept but I'm unable to help.
