New rig with a Tascam US-2400

Hey all,
I just put together a Dell 8940 with PT 2021 and I'm trying to get a Tascam US-2400 to work as the controller (old favorite). Anyone have any insight on pairing this up?

I am assuming you have never used the US-2400 before? Not sure about drivers as its a discontinued product, but setup should be like this(assuming it is already set to HUI mode, or only operates in HUI mode):
1-Open Pro Tools and go to Setup>Peripherals>Midi tab.
2-Add a HUI device in the first slot and set send and return paths to Tascam-USB(or whatever shows up on the list that looks correct) and leave the number of channels at 8(the default).
3-repeat #2 twice more, so you have a total of 24 channels configured

Followed your directions but was only given the opportunity to add 16 channels, not 24. Only Tascam 1 and 2 were options. Any ideas how to find 17-24?

I actually used this unit many years ago in a studio a worked for in San Francisco. Not my rig and Mac based, so completely different setup.

PT is also saying that it doesn't recognize the HUI device. Is there an updated driver I need to install?

Just noticed your note about the driver. I hope there is a Windows 10 one that works.

My Windows 10 system is having issues with the US-2400. PT 2021 is saying it can't recognize the HUI. Does anyone have any intel on getting it to run with Windows 10? The only thing I can find is drivers from 14 years ago.

Try compatibility mode, maybe?

Tried it to no joy. As much as I love the 2400, I just don't think it's going to work with this new setup.
