I wonder if anyone can explain this one? Sometimes we find that a Protools project will not open on a Tascam MMR/MMP dubber because it cannot locate the "Audio Files" folder associated with the session.
The reason is that the letter "I" of "Files" becomes capitalised and the Tascam looks for the lower-case version (i.e. "Files" not "FIles".) The projects so far seem to be originating on 5.3.3 HD systems (Mac) and are saved as PT4 or 5.0 format so the Tascams can see the sessions. Does anyone know what causes the difference in spelling of "Files" as saved by the Protools? So far we have been unable to cause it to happen deliberately. Inquiring minds need to know! Tim |

Yes, I used to see this every now & then as well, but only in the context of older file formats, 4, 5, cant really remember now. Haven't seen it for a few years and I have no idea what could be causing it.
