MMC control of PT LE with 001 and Yamaha MD8

Hi everybody,
I have a problem controlling my MD8 with Midi. If I choose MMC in the transport dialog window my protools 6.1.1 is not starting. if I choose protools in the transport window my MD8 is not starting. Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong.

I have connected the midi out of protools with the midi in of the MD8.

What I want to have: The MD8 have to follow the transport of protools. If I for example record enable protools the MD8 should be record enabled as well. and if I start recording the Md8 should do the same.

Please Help
