This sounds strange. It is not possible to buy an "upgrade" from 11HD to non-HD software.

How much did you pay finally? Was it $99.-, $199.- or $599.-?

Another thing to do is watch the splash screen as Pro Tools starts to open. If it does not have the big HD, then you are opening regular(non-HD) Pro Tools and that will not work with HDN or HDX cards

Yea that won't work. The PT12HD update is $599 so you bought the wrong update in the Avid store. You haveto contact the Avid store and see what you need to do inorder to get the right license and if you need to get a refund or if they can charge the additional cost from $199 to $599

Hey

They work fine bit you need a HD Native card or a HDX card in order to use them in the new 64 bit environment. The old TDM cards doesn't work though.

Thanks. I have requested a refund of the $199.00. The $599 upgrade is too steep for me - especially after the $5k upgrade to 11HD Native & Omni a couple years ago.
