Default NAMM - any expectations? Predictions?

I will be attending. Wondering if Avid is going to release the 004 or anything else.

Maybe they'll have a real booth this year...lol
I imagine with all the new stuff they put out this year they have
a lot to show and talk about.

Yeah. I heard about 004. We'll see... I'm curious what will be the improvement on 004, if it comes out. I would at least hope for FW800, and 8 gain knobs as a standard.

Even better would be FW1600/USB3.0. Hope it will be a unit with the look, functions and connections of a 003 rack+, but with the AD/DA quality of a Omni.

Actually I can do without the preamps aswell. Everything besides the AD/DA part is already befitting in my home studio.
So for me most important thing is AD/DA quality.

I wouldn't mind pres, if we can bypass them. However I want it to be able to use all 32 channels of I/O that pt 9 allows. :)

Maybe Avid will give us a cool replacement for the M-Audio Lightbridge that just got dropped. Personally, I want that and a new Command16 controller(I still think the Euphonix stuff is too expensive and they still haven't finalized Windows drivers).
