TDM 6.2.3 - Edit Window - Solo issues

I have a goofy issue with PT TDM 6.2.3. It's not life or death, just annoying slightly sorta kinda.

I'll give an example as follows:

I have 12 tracks (drums, guitar and bass).
I want to SOLO the guitar to hear something; I go to the Edit window and hit the S button on the guitar track. I hear the guitar, but I also hear the kick and snare coming out also, even though I did not SOLO those tracks.

I look at the kick and snare tracks and the S button is grayed out. The only way to get those tracks to NOT solo is to hit the M (mute) button. The other buttons on those tracks are also fuzzy looking (because the solo button is enabled), but they work.

It's as if the SOLO buttons on both the Kick and Snare tracks are forced on. Clicking on the S button (trying to turn off) does nothing.

I have looked at the prefs and settings, but can't figure it out. I don't have any inserts or wacky busses going anywhere on those tracks. I don't THINK I have automation, but maybe you can point me in the right direction.

You have accidentally turned on the solo-safe function on your kick and snare tracks. You can enable and disable solo-safe by command-clicking on the solo button of a track.
