Dual monitor setup questions

I have a DP 500 G4
I want to go to dual monitors to look at the edit and mix window simultaneously. So I'm considering this setup...
2 NEC 1550X Monitors (they have DVI and VGA Connectors)
Village Tronics MDD+ PCI Video card. Has anyone had success with this card?

Will I care if I don't use the Digital output of these monitors? Since I figure I'll be using the VGA connector of the internal video card and the VGA connector of the MDD+.

Any thoughts or warnings?
