PT7 Dual monitor setup Serious issues.
I'm using 2 23" apple monitors (the new ones) and if I strech the edit or mix windows over 2 pages all the regions dissapear and also whilst "streched out" if you import session data (other tracks) it imports the audio and tracks but doesn't display the regions!!!
.. Also, if you select delete unused regions (even on one monitor) you clear them, do it again and another buch of unused region are selacted. This is very worrying and bythe time you've finished doing all that you're still left with loads of regions in the session which dont belong anywhere. C'mon digidesign this is basic stuff. |

Re: PT7 Dual monitor setup Serious issues.
First question - have you tried trashing preferences yet?
Next - when you say you are stretching the Mix or Edit windows over 2 screens are you talking about each window on it's own screen or do you have one window (Edit, for instance) stretch across both screens? Lastly - what computer model is this? Which video card are you using? What OS version and Pro Tools version (is it just 7.0 or is it 7.1? Have you applied any CS updates)? |
