Default new to dual monitor setup...

Hi, i have the monitors setup and both are on and working but this may be a dumb question.
How can i get the monitors to not be the same thing? I want to have the edit in the right and mix in the left window. thanks and i've looked on the DUC but didn't find much.

you need to set that up in your windows display preferences - you should see the option to designate each monitor separately - in some cases you might need manufacturer drivers for this -

Shy, this is more of a Windows question, but... Assuming that Windows recognizes both monitors and your graphics card doesn't require specialized software...

--> Right-click on the desktop, choose "properties". On the "Settings" tab, look toward the bottom for a checkbox "Extend my desktop onto second monitor"... Make sure it's checked and adjust settings by clicking on the monitor "1" or monitor "2" icons...

Hope this helps.

shynomi,
You don't drag by the titlebar..use the double arrow sizing thingy to "extend".
I was just learning this last week, courtesy of Shawn ( spkgtr) ...

good luck,
