Well at least a discount on the DAPS, not to mention that's simply integrated in other DAWs.

I really wish they'd give me the Avid Complete Plug-ins bundle perpetually as a Perpetual License owner

Seriously. This would get me to actually use them. Same with the Inner Circle- they should be negotiating permanent licenses so when the vendor's deal with Avid ends, users can still open sessions.

That’s why Avid stopped reinstatements for a while and announced you couldn’t update your perpetual license anymore…thinking of it….it’s Cruel…very Cruel. I can’t think of another company that really did this…

Well to be accurate on the wording ::they announced you would not be able to reinstate an expired license. (after months of notification and grace period prior to that deadline date) And You have always been able to update a current perpetual license.

Now I don't like have to pay an annul fee to stay current any more than the next guy But at least it's less expensive than the annual subscription price

Also FOR clarification the (no longer providing updates and stop selling perpetual license ?) = Adobe Inc. pioneered the force everybody into subscription or you get left in dust,, business policy....
