Regarding Codemeter

I uninstalled it yesterday using the Uninstaller

As soon as I opened Auto-Tune Central this morning it reinstalled Codemeter.

I am sad about this

YEP..
I spent a lot of time doing the same. Looked up the company in WA state I think. No info on support at all. So glad it's gone. Same issues with some of the VI's I have here. Some companies are switching also they told me.

Yeah, it's kinda surprising, I never looked that up. Of those 900 I use like 20 on the daily and the rest is mostly clutter.
However, I'm more than happy Antares changed back to iLok. I stopped using the AVOX bundle after too many issues with licensing. Everytime I wanted to use them I couldn't without jumping through hoops with their app because the license kept being lost somewhere in the codemeter-realm. It sucked so bad.
Now I might put it back into my quiver.

I'm afraid to remove my less-interesting plugins from the plugin folder because if they sit in that unused dungeon they will NEVER see the light of day again. I'll forget that I have them.

I don't love how long the list of certain plugin categories has become, and I think Avid could improve upon the way PT handles Favorites.

Yeah, I sincerely hope that a user-controllable plug-in organizer/manager is on the horizon.

For my iLok licenses, some are so old that it's almost a joke. I mean.... MOTU's MachFive sampler? Waves 5.0? That's 2005 and 2008, respectively. I had licenses before then, but most went away when I sold systems, like Pro Tools Project.

Edit: Oh crap. I looked at total licenses, instead of just the ones on my iLok... 927. I have a problem.

Yeah that's what it does. I believe its still in the installer for those who don't want to transfer there license at this time but once you get all your license transferred and your plugins installed you can uninstall it and don't re-install Anatares Central. I guess that's what we have to do until they come out with a new installer for the plugins only.

Does it support 'ilok cloud' activation?
