Default Music Production Toolkit 2 Academic with full version of PT 8 MP

I have the full version of Pro Tools 8 M-Powered (not the academic version).

I am a student, and was thinking of purchasing the Music Production Toolkit 2 Academic version. Can I use this with my full version of PT8 MP, and is it exactly the same thing, just a different type of license for the same functionality?

Thanks.

I've read that the academic versions of Music Production Toolkit 2, DV Toolkit 2, are only sold to actual schools, and not individual students.

The sweetwater description has this...

"This item is available to qualifying educational institutions and individuals."

To me, that implies it's available to individual students.

Give it a shot, then. I'm sure they're exactly the same as the retail versions.
