Default old g4 single processor upgrade

dually anyone?

was wondering if any of you catz had upgraded from a single processor g4 (quicksilver)
to one of the new sonnet or powerlogic dual g4 upgrades. was wanting to bump up my
horsepower but not wanting to work through a bunch of problems.

also - do memory/processor demands on a session get bigger with the number of region
being used in the track? > if i do lots of cut n paste actions on 16th does it tax my processor more than
one large region. looking for ways to get more out of what i have in regard to processing power.
need more pplug ins and automation. yeah!yeah!

thanks all- sorry for the number of questions

Go to www.xlr8yourmac.com/cpucards.html .I upgraded from a 700 to a 1.4 Gigadesign and found their site invaluable.
Marty
P.S.
I'm happy with the upgrade
