YESSSS!!!! This is the first thing I am turning off.


I'm so excited for this release. I just purchased VocAlign Pro 6 and I can't wait to try it out in ARA in real Time. So many exciting ARA things to try.

Also surprising new features:

"Bounce, Commit, and Freeze Tracks from Internal Render (atmos)"
"Show/Hide Tracks with Clips"
"Show lanes with Automation" (Big Thumbs Up)
"Improved Filtering in the Clips List" (Curious about this)
"New Editing Commands" (Curious about this one too).

I just hope it is at least as stable as 2024.3.1

I always download from my Avid Account online. If you log in and go to your products, you will see a new version under Pro Tools Ultimate.

That download has documentation and includes a "What's New in Pro Tools 2024.6"

I was referring to the Avid Link version, which normally coincides with the latest PT and this time the Avid Link version is at 24.5.

Expanded ARA Integration

Pro Tools 2024.6 adds ARA 2 support for six industry-leading plugins, including iZotope RX Spectral Editor, Synchro Arts RePitch, VocAlign, and Revoice Pro, as well as Sound Radix Auto-Align 2 and Auto-Align Post 2. Together with existing Celemony Melodyne integration, ARA 2 support enables users to leverage these tools significantly faster and easier in Pro Tools without having to roundtrip audio. Additionally, customers with active subscriptions and perpetual upgrade plans will automatically receive iZotope RX Spectral Editor and Synchro Arts RePitch Elements as part of this release.

Passthrough sample accurate volume automation, as well as pan for any supported Media Composer panning formats.
