These plugs only work if you've already purchased Pluggo 3 right?

I think that you should be able to install the free Runtime edition to get them to work, sans Pluggo. That's how it worked with the OS9 version.

Good luck!

Nope,
but you do have to have the pluggo runtime enviroment,,it's a free down load,,go to CYCLE's site and then go to the pluggo page,,

I downloaded 3.1.1 and all the plug ins work (i don't know about any run time environment) the only problem is after about a minute or so there's a period of noise inserted into the plug. I'm assuming there needs to be some sort of authorization to make this quit

Punk, you've downloaded the demo of the full Pluggo program instead of the runtime installer.

Go back to http://www.cycling74.com/products/dlpluggo.html again : At the base of the paragraph where you got 3.1.1 before, see the sentence that says "Download the Pluggo 3.1.1 runtime installer for Mac OS X (updated 11 January 2004)"

That's the one you need. It doesn't give you the standard Pluggo instruments/FX (like the demo does), but allows you to use the ones we've linked above.

(by the way everyone, that missing file I referred to a few posts back is now part of the runtime installer, so you don't need that extra file from my site anymore.)

So basically you have to download the runtime environment and then search out the plug ins for yourself?

The free ones,,sure,,but you don't have to do to much searching as most of the good ones have links from right here on the DUC,,do a search for free pluggins,,also simon666 has put links to sonoria's site and his pluggs are a treat,,except the tuna keeps crashing my system under OSX as it also did under OS 9,,but all the others rock,,also do a search for LONE ROGER and also Wildfrontear,,
Happy hunting,,and hell,,why not just go a head and drop the 199 bucks on getting the whole mess and autherise your PLUGGO DEMO,,

Homebelly,
tuna never crashed my system, please mail me some details .Thanks.

Simon666
nothing wrong with d/l and use Pluggo full install. It runs in demo mode without authorising (beeps every minute). It does contain free runtime , developement tools and 100+ demo fx & synths. If you don't want to purchase / authorise - just move unused pluggos outside their folder and drop some freebies there. I'm not working for them, but ther's nothing wrong with trying it for free. Anyway it's a bargain - below $2 / plug.
Many thanks for your runtime reports,
cheers
Jack

oh i see Jack, i thought that the demo version would also add the "beep" to the third party ones like yours. Good that it doesn't
