Default Cloud Back Up Services

I need to get some cloud back up or other for my studio system. Is there one you all recommend or prefer? Or is the Cloud for PT 12 sufficient unto the day? (I haven't upgraded to 12 yet, but plan to) Thanks

Hey Donald

Hope all is well on your side of the pond

We use Gobbler as Avid / PT cloud storage haven't been implemented as far as I know so as we work with artists and record companies overseas and need to know it is 10000000% secure to send them our sessions and files for remixes etc and Gobbler has worked a treat so far, I think you get a nice piece of GB storage free when signing up aswell.

https://www.gobbler.com

This is of course only our opinion and what we use and there are others that works equally good.

Tried Crashplan, Backblaze, and checked out JungleDisk, Mozy and Spider Oak. After a lot of testing and experimentation, the clear winner was Arq by Haystack Software:

Arq runs an unlimited cloud backup to Google Business for a very reasonable monthly price. Very low background CPU usage and highly responsive tech support.

As I understand it, though, Gobbler is primarily just for backing up session data. I want to back up ALL my drives. My OS, session drives, samples, and the rest. Does Gobbler do all that?

Aahh ok thought you meant like using it for collaboration and store sessions for use by others. I can't say for sure but will check it out.

OneDrive is a great cloudserver aswell and in reality I think they all do similar things but with different pricing so check out all of them and read the reviews online and choose the one that suits you and your needs best
